Our Program

Our program combines hands-on learning with structured routines to support the whole child—intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. Whether your child is just starting their preschool journey or preparing for kindergarten, our experienced and loving staff are here to guide them with patience, intention, and heart. We partner closely with families to ensure that each child’s needs are met, progress is shared, and every milestone is celebrated.

Preschool Program

2-Year-olds

Welcome to Our 2-Year-Old Class
Our 2-year-old class is designed to gently introduce toddlers to a structured yet nurturing environment where they can explore, grow, and thrive. At this age, children are beginning to build independence, develop language, and engage in social play—our program supports all of this with loving guidance and age-appropriate activities.

We focus on creating a consistent routine that includes hands-on learning, music, movement, sensory play, and opportunities to build early social and self-help skills. Our teachers understand the unique needs of toddlers and provide patient, responsive care to support their emotional development and growing curiosity.

We understand that many 2-year-olds are still in the process of potty training—and that's perfectly okay. Our teachers work closely with families to support each child’s potty-training journey with patience, consistency, and encouragement. We create a judgment-free environment where children feel comfortable and proud of their progress.

3-Year-Olds

Welcome to Our 3-Year-Old Class
Our 3-year-old class is designed to nurture their growing independence as children develop rapidly both emotionally and cognitively.

In this classroom, children build on early learning foundations through fun, hands-on activities that focus on language development, early math and literacy concepts, fine motor skills, and creative expression. They begin to follow simple routines, participate in group activities, and build friendships. They explore how to express their feelings and work through challenges with gentle guidance from our caring teachers.

This is a time for big milestones and big emotions. Our goal is to support each child’s unique growth while helping them feel confident, capable, and excited about learning

Pre-Kindergarten Program

4 and 5-year-olds

Welcome to Our Pre-K Program
Our Pre-K program at Blooming Preschool is thoughtfully designed to prepare children ages 4–5 for a smooth and confident transition into kindergarten. At this stage, children are ready for more structured learning while still benefiting from hands-on exploration, creative play, and strong emotional support.

In our Pre-K classroom, children strengthen foundational academic skills such as letter recognition, early reading, number concepts, problem-solving, and fine motor development through engaging, theme-based activities. We emphasize social-emotional learning, independence, and collaboration. These are key components for success in a classroom setting.

Our dedicated teachers guide each child at their own pace, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. By the end of the program, children leave feeling prepared, confident, and excited for their next big step into kindergarten.

FAQ

  • Blooming Preschool Nurtures a Love for Learning

At Blooming Preschool, we lay the foundation for academic success and a lifelong love of learning. Through engaging, theme-based activities, children explore the world around them alongside their peers. They’ll practice recognizing and writing their names, numbers, letters, shapes, and colors—all essential skills to prepare for kindergarten.

Our nurturing teachers provide a safe, supportive environment where children build confidence, social skills, and independence. With a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:12, every child receives thoughtful attention and quality care.

Upon enrollment, your child will be assessed through observation and developmental milestones. These insights help our staff and families set personalized, achievable goals that support each child’s growth.

Preschool also gives parents and guardians the peace of mind to manage daily responsibilities, knowing their child is safe, engaged, and following a structured routine. Each day includes a balanced schedule of meals, nap time, indoor and outdoor play, and hands-on learning activities tailored to each class.

  • Supporting Your Child During Preschool Drop-Off

It’s completely normal for children to cry during arrival as they adjust to a new environment and learn to separate from their caregivers. This important transition happens in two key ways:

    1. The Parent’s Role
Without bribing, calmly say a simple and reassuring goodbye. Let your child know you’ll be back later and offer a quick hug or kiss. Then leave promptly—even if your child is crying. Keeping drop-offs consistent and brief helps your child build trust in the routine. Save extra affection and conversations for pickup time, when you can ask about their day and celebrate their efforts.

    2. The Teacher’s Role
Once you’ve said goodbye, allow our loving staff to step in and comfort your child. It’s essential for children to begin building a bond with their teachers. Lingering in the classroom or hesitating to let go can confuse your child and make the transition harder. Trust our teachers to welcome, support, and care for your child. Over time, children learn that their teacher is a safe and consistent presence while you are away.

Every child adjusts at their own pace, and it may take up to three weeks to fully settle into the routine.

If you’re feeling uneasy, don’t hesitate to call us—we’re here for you too. Regardless of the program your child is in, it’s important to observe their behavior at pickup. A happy, engaged child at the end of the day is a great sign they are adjusting well.

Patience and consistency are key during this first preschool experience—for both you and your child.

  • Illness and Your Child’s Transition to Preschool

It’s completely normal for children to get sick more often during their first experience in childcare. At preschool, they are exposed to new environments and germs—much like how adults may get sick when traveling to a new place.

Young children have developing immune systems, and encountering common childhood illnesses helps them build long-term immunity. While it can be difficult to see your child unwell, occasional illness is a natural part of this developmental stage.

At Blooming Preschool, we prioritize good hygiene and regular cleaning. However, due to close interactions and play, occasional illness is still likely—just as it is in public parks or play spaces.

Please remember: our staff are not healthcare professionals. You know your child best, and if you ever have health concerns, we encourage you to consult your pediatrician or healthcare provider.

Keeping your child home at every sign of illness isn’t always the answer. In fact, consistent attendance helps them adapt to the environment and strengthens their immune response over time. With patience and care, your child will grow stronger and more resilient.
